We hope our website is an interesting and worthwhile location for parishioners and visitors to keep up to date with what's happening in our parish. We welcome in a special way all natives of Corlough-Templeport who are living elsewhere in Ireland or scattered throughout the world. We hope that this website will help to keep you in touch with your native parish.We also hope that those whose parents or ancestors come from this parish will learn more about their ancestral home.

Corlough-Templeport is a rural parish located in West Cavan, situated between Ballyconnell, Swanlinbar and Ballinamore. Corlough formed part of the larger parish of Templeport until 1877 when Corlough was made a separate parish. In 2016, in line with Diocesan parish re-alignment - Corlough was amalgamated again with the Parish of Templeport to form what is now known as "The Parish of Corlough-Templeport". There are three churches in the parish: St. Patrick's Church, Corlough; St. Mogue's Church, Bawnboy; and St. Patrick's Church, Kilnavart.

As a parish we welcome anyone who wishes to join us in any way for worship and active involvement in our life and activities. We are very proud of our parish and strive to be welcoming and encouraging to all.
